Choosing the right category

Weight matters most, but so does the way goods are loaded: palletised stock suits a box or curtain-side, loose material points to a tipper, and long or irregular items may sit best on a flatbed. Mention how many people will ride in the cab and any site restrictions you expect, such as narrow approaches or low clearances, and we will suggest an appropriate category or a similar model.

Agreeing the terms before you commit

Once the vehicle is settled, work through the practicalities. Fix your start and end dates, choose a mileage option that reflects the routes you expect to cover, and note the standard insurance excess that applies. Tell us which drivers should be named on the agreement. If you need the vehicle brought to an address, dropped at a different location, or taken on European travel, raise it at this stage so the arrangements can be confirmed rather than improvised.
